The Death of America

I don’t think it’ll happen soon, nor will Obama be the direct cause. That someone so clearly inept as Obama could get into our highest seat of power shows how intellectually weak we have become. It was the American dream – the average citizen’s working model of basic economics – that blocked the encroachment of socialism in the past, but now that barrier has been removed by decades of intellectual decline. It was socialism that was the death of Europe, and our fate will be no different. Under Obama, we will be stripped of many of our basic economic freedoms as he brags he will do. Social and political freedoms are sure to follow.

Hitler, Stalin and Mao all came into power as a result of socialistic beliefs. This is no accident. Socialism is an ideology which demands reduction in net freedom under the guise of “equality”. Whenever freedom is reduced in a nation, it becomes more vulnerable to tyranny. Obama isn’t competent enough to be a tyrant, but he may be opening the door for someone who is.

Obama’s economic plan will kill millions of innocent people. America is one of the world’s largest exporters of food. Obama wants to reduce our exports significantly by slashing trade agreements. This means we will sell much less food. With much less food on the global market, food prices around the world will surge upwards. People in poor countries that could barely afford food at the current prices will starve. Between 13 and 18 million people die every year from starvation.  That number will more than double by 2012 – assuming only that Obama does what he claims he will do.

The poor around the world will suffer, even if they don’t starve. Raising the corporate tax (it’s already the second highest in the world) even higher will send many more jobs overseas and condemn many dependent on American business to poverty. Commodity prices will double in two years. His massive spending will continue to deflate the value of the dollar, and make our debt even more insurmountable.  This is of course, only assuming Obama sticks to his current promised tax and spending increases. In reality, it will probably be much worse.

Things don’t look much better on the foreign policy front.  Obama wants to cut military spending by 25% and counter terrorism efforts by half. At the same time, he has suggested military action against Pakistan, an ally armed with nuclear weapons. It is difficult to reconcile these two positions – both of them absurd – with each other.

This was America’s choice for president – someone who will cause the deaths of millions, further impoverish the world’s poor, plunge us into a depression, deplete our resources for combating terrorism while simultaneously attacking our allies and potentially more things which were not included in his campaign promises. Well, at least he’s black. Sort of.

His win shows how morally bankrupt, void of common sense, dependent and lazy we’ve become.

BTW: Though personal opinion, it’s not just that he’ll be responsible for the death of millions.

it’s that he, pretend Protestant Christian, or Christian in name only, is actually an advocate of murder/slaughter of the mnost vulnerable of humans.

When I thought about this morning, I got nauseated.

    Sure, the Clintons supported abortion.

Bush didn’t do much to try to stop it.

But Obama is even farther left, more extreme, than NARAL.

I almost shed tears while I read this post. I am so saddened to see what our great nation has come to… and angry too. America will actually be better off if he does exactly what he promises, as bad as all of his promises are. It would be a lot better than what I fear might happen – him being a total shock to those who voted for him – and even to us, those who actually researched the facts about him.

Thanks for posting truth… especially on a day like this.

Those people will not die of starvation. The Global Poverty Act, if passed into law, will see to that. And in return, a goodly number of Americans will end up in charity kitchens when they can’t afford the tax that will be imposed upon us to ensure that the rest of the world’s citizens eat. I guess it will be just another example of “spreading the wealth around.”

You’re completely right. I, however, don’t believe this is the time to sit down and stay depressed about what has happened and what could happen. While we still have the right -nay the responsibility- to question our government, we should do everything in our power as Americans to stop this from happening. At the moment, I’m not sure what I can do but I believe something can be done.

This was the first election I was old enough to vote in, I certainly hope this will not be my last.

Denise, you can’t legislate food out of thin air. Obama’s going to reduce our exports of food – period. You can’t buy food that doesn’t exist.

Fred, we can only hope Barack does as much in the next 4 years as he did in his last 4 years in the US Senate.. a couple of meaningless things and then 2 years of campaigning. If his work ethic stays true to his past… we’ll only have 4 more years of a do nothing government.

Way to find that silver lining, Dan. I hope you’re right.

Part of the problem, I reckon, is that 40 years of faulty education deprives the average American of the skill of critical thinking.

No one thought to ask BHO how on earth he planned to be a match for Putin. No one thought to ask if when the gubmint takes over health care will the sugar nazi’s report every diabetic that sneaks a snickers? No one asked how BHO plans to finance the UN’s demand for 0.07 % of US GDP every year until Kingdom Come. (yep, BO promised the UN would get the USA’s “share” of finances–this is nothing short of a “tithe” to the UN–but then, Sweet Peas, never foget that BHO is not a socialist, but an outright “internationalist” who believes sovereignty is obsolete.

This is why Europe adores him–they’ve given up national borders and they want us to as well.

I don’t think that the President has that much power. We should be worried about hwho is in Congress, that is where the real power is. The President does not have the power to do much with the exception of the military. Presidents don’t have the power to change laws or policies, that is why we have a congress

Aunty Belle Cracker knows the deal. Critical thinking skills have been bred out of the gene pool for many, it seems.

Sadly, we all know what is going to happen. Kudos to those who have eyes that see. BO may not have power, but those who control him do.

Imagine the strides this nation could have taken if We, the People took more action than just ‘talk”? If we really WERE fed up of the way things are governed, that we would take a stand, like our Constitution SAYS. But our government has gotten the majority thinking that this is an impossibility. And now, your new leader will make sure that it will be.

The sadness that will follow if he cuts military spending at this time, will be unending. The same as pulling out of Iraq. Hence, we DO have to do this at some time. But not now. Since WHEN are we a nation that lies down? Do we ‘wait’, until it’s too late…like everything else? Or do we come to a United Front as the Americans we ought to be, and demand our nation is governed as it was meant? God sakes, this nation is dying, yet it does not have to.

We already have enough people starving in this country. No one has helped them all these years, do you think that is going to change?

I will always want the choice as to whether or not my tax dollars will support illegals. My answer will always be NO.

It’s wrong for them to have driver’s licenses without earning them, even though we have all been told are a ‘privilege’ to have.

If I get sick, I don’t want to spend time on a waiting list, not knowing when or if I will even be seen.

I cannot fathom the ‘right’ to protect myself and my loved one’s, taken away. Can you? Taxing ammo to the point of not being able to afford it is the same as banning guns. .05cents on every rd. PLUS 6% excise tax already being levied on ammo.

It’s WRONG for OUR tax dollars to have to pay back, in droves, billions of dollars for companies who are financially irresponsible with their money. If I’m just LATE on one payment, guess who’s ringing the phone off the wall?

It’s nonsensical to ‘force’ or indoctrinate them to learn another language, in this country. Especially when we won’t even recognize English as our primary language here.

Do we want our child to be subject to “homosexual indoctrination” in their schools? That YOUR tax dollars support? And not be able to do anything about it? Some schools are reading “King & king” to small children.

Do we want Sharia Law in this country? Out of ALL things, we must NOT allow this to trickle into this country. If you want to really know what Injustice is, allow that to settle here and you will quickly see.

Do we want your children having to learn the basic tenets of Islam? As they are now doing in some California schools? Now probably others too.

Do we want to be classified into “groups’ socially, as he intends to do.

Surely many will think these things petty right now. But they are not. These are just doorways for worse things to come if they are not dealt with by WE, the People!

It seems that those who’d much rather get a free ride from Uncle Sam, are far outnumbering those who love and enjoy their freedom.

100% agree with that statement right there. Obama…kind of an idiot to be honest but the way we vote we’ll put someone nasty in for sure.

And didn’t you know? Obama’s defeating the disease of obesity! By cutting down food exports less food is given, the less people eat, therefore no more fat people. Isn’t that grand! (huuge hint of sarcasm btw)

The idea of ‘America’ is on its deathbed. The constitution has become so distorted and government corruption has made this great country a ‘whore’ for the rest of the world. I am truly wheeping for all the men and woman that have given their lifes for this. Unacceptable,..I wish people would unite and stand up. We need more true patriots.

I could not agree more. Every single day the future of America looks more bleak.
